High Five! at Shibuya Crossing, Jun 15th, 2014

Everybody talks about 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. I wonder why they love soccer. There is no more difficult sports to get a come-from-behind win than soccer. One goal behind in the 30th minute of the second half. I cannot expect to get a win.

Anyway, watching a spree is my hobby. I was at Shibuya Crossing just before finish of the game Côte d’Ivoire vs Japan on the 15th of June in 2014.

Hundreds of policemen were deployed.

High Alert.

Japan was beaten by 2 goals to 1.
Since the finish of the game, 5 minutes, 10 minutes went by.
Nothing special happened. So, I hung around Sibuya Station.

A TV reporter made a report about the defeat of Japan and what was going on at Shibuya Crossing.

Hachikō was wearing a samurai blue scarf and a Kamikaze scarf.

Looks cute. But, dark side behind. It’s recruitment of prostitutes.

Girls’ Band.

I was back. High Five already started.

Around 1:00, Whooping « Nippon! ».

From the start.

Around 1:20, two men were warned to get down.

Japan’s Flag Makeup.

Japan’s Flag Mask.

World Cup Trophy.

It seems a shocking to this bar’s owner. The board says this bar would be closed on the next day June 16 due to the defeat of Japan.

  1. How exciting the crowd is! Perfect people (and things) watching setting. I would love to see such view. That truck though… I gasp when I read what it’s about. Eeek!
